시편 127편 ~ 129편 (Psalms 127 ~ 129)
시편 127편 [솔로몬의 시 곧 성전에 올라가는 노래]
1. 여호와께서 집을 세우지 아니하시면 세우는 자의 수고가 헛되며 여호와께서 성을 지키지 아니하시면 파수꾼의 깨어 있음이 헛되도다
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.
2. 너희가 일찍이 일어나고 늦게 누우며 수고의 떡을 먹음이 헛되도다 그러므로 여호와께서 그의 사랑하시는 자에게는 잠을 주시는도다
In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves.
3. 보라 자식들은 여호와의 기업이요 태의 열매는 그의 상급이로다
Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.
4. 젊은 자의 자식은 장사의 수중의 화살 같으니
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.
5. 이것이 그의 화살통에 가득한 자는 복되도다 그들이 성문에서 그들의 원수와 담판할 때에 수치를 당하지 아니하리로다
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
시편 128편 [성전에 올라가는 노래]
1. 여호와를 경외하며 그의 길을 걷는 자마다 복이 있도다
Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.
2. 네가 네 손이 수고한 대로 먹을 것이라 네가 복되고 형통하리로다
You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3. 네 집 안방에 있는 네 아내는 결실한 포도나무 같으며 네 식탁에 둘러 앉은 자식들은 어린 감람나무 같으리로다
Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
4. 여호와를 경외하는 자는 이같이 복을 얻으리로다
Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.
5. 여호와께서 시온에서 네게 복을 주실지어다 너는 평생에 예루살렘의 번영을 보며
May the Lord bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6. 네 자식의 자식을 볼지어다 이스라엘에게 평강이 있을지어다
May you live to see your children’s children—peace be on Israel.
시편 129편 [성전에 올라가는 노래]
1. 이스라엘은 이제 말하기를 그들이 내가 어릴 때부터 여러 번 나를 괴롭혔도다
“They have greatly oppressed me from my youth,”let Israel say;
2. 그들이 내가 어릴 때부터 여러 번 나를 괴롭혔으나 나를 이기지 못하였도다
“they have greatly oppressed me from my youth, but they have not gained the victory over me.
3. 밭 가는 자들이 내 등을 갈아 그 고랑을 길게 지었도다
Plowmen have plowed my back and made their furrows long.
4. 여호와께서는 의로우사 악인들의 줄을 끊으셨도다
But the Lord is righteous; he has cut me free from the cords of the wicked.”
5. 무릇 시온을 미워하는 자들은 수치를 당하여 물러갈지어다
May all who hate Zion be turned back in shame.
6. 그들은 지붕의 폴과 같을지어다 그것은 자라기 전에 마르는 것이라
May they be like grass on the roof, which withers before it can grow;
7. 이런 것은 베는 자의 손과 묶는 자의 품에 차지 아니하나이다
a reaper cannot fill his hands with it, nor one who gathers fill his arms.
8. 지나가는 자들도 여호와의 복이 너희에게 있을지어다 하거나 우리가 여호와의 이름으로 너희에게 축복한다 하지 아니하느니라
May those who pass by not say to them, “The blessing of the Lord be on you; we bless you in the name of the Lord.”
